Egyptian influencer and fashion creator Hadeer Abdel Razik, known online as @hadeer.abdelrazikkkk, has publicly addressed the storm surrounding the leak of an intimate video that exposed her private life with her husband.
In an emotional statement, she declared that she refuses to feel ashamed of her body or of living her life as a woman, despite the heavy criticism and harassment she has faced. “I have been sentenced to death by the public. I don’t know what crime I committed to deserve the destruction of my life in this way. My life has been ruined, and no one seems to be showing any mercy… please, have mercy on me,” she pleaded through tears.
The blogger revealed that the viral clip—illegally spread with captions such as “Watch before deleting” and “The Hadeer Abdel Razik Scandal”—has not only violated her privacy but also placed her at the center of relentless public shaming.
Her words echo the experiences of many women in Egypt who continue to face harassment, blackmail, gender-based violence, and victim-blaming in the aftermath of digital privacy violations. By speaking out, Hadeer Abdel Razik has joined a growing movement of Arab women who are calling attention to the stigma and abuse that come with such incidents.
Despite the backlash, she continues to emphasize her right to live a normal life and to use her voice as a creator on platforms like TikTok, refusing to let the scandal silence her.
