Members of the popular P-pop girl group BINI — Jhoanna, Colet, and Stacey — along with GAT’s Ethan, have recently come under intense scrutiny after a controversial video began circulating online.
BINI, often dubbed the “Nation’s Girl Group,” is an eight-member ensemble consisting of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena. Leading the group is Jhoanna Robles, who is widely recognized as its face. Since their debut in 2021, BINI has headlined major concerts both in the Philippines and abroad, building a strong presence with several viral hits — many of which have sparked TikTok dance trends. Their dedicated fanbase, known as BLOOM, has supported them since the beginning of their journey.
However, this recent controversy has cast a shadow over their image. The backlash began when a video surfaced on Reddit, showing Jhoanna, Colet, and Stacey alongside Ethan from GAT — a five-member pre-debut boy group under Viva Artists Agency. The content of the video sparked outrage among netizens, leading to a wave of negative comments aimed at the involved artists.
