Former OnlyFans star Camilla Araujo is once again making headlines—this time for a high-priced online course aimed at teaching aspiring creators how to “make it” in the content world. The launch comes just days after Araujo announced her retirement from OnlyFans in a 15-minute YouTube documentary titled Becoming Her, released on New Year’s Day.
But instead of applause, the new venture has sparked controversy.

In her documentary, Araujo revealed she was stepping away from OnlyFans while teasing a new chapter focused on mentoring young creators. Soon after, she unveiled paid courses promising guidance on growing a profitable online presence.
The timing—and steep price tag—immediately raised eyebrows among fans. Critics quickly accused the program of being misleading, with some even labeling it a pyramid scheme. The loudest criticism came from fellow creator Forrest Smith, who decided to sign up so others wouldn’t have to.
Smith shared her experience in a viral TikTok video, breaking down what she described as several red flags. “I signed up for Camilla’s course so you don’t have to,” she said (via Blast). “And I’m gonna explain everything about it that feels really scammy to me.”
One major issue, Smith claimed, was the “application interview” process. “They do this whole ‘we need to see if you’re the right fit’ thing,” she explained. “It’s just a tactic to make you feel special so you’re more willing to drop $2,000 to $5,000 on a course.”
She also dismissed claims that spots were limited. “The ‘limited spots available’ line is complete bulls**t,” Smith said. “Please use your critical thinking skills.”
According to Smith, the biggest problem was that the information being sold wasn’t exclusive at all. “I’ve grown multiple social media accounts by myself,” she said. “And guess how much I paid to learn how to do that? Zero dollars.” She added, “There’s no secret formula. Everything they’re selling is already on YouTube—for free.”
Fans echoed those frustrations in the comments on Araujo’s posts. “There’s no way people are taking this seriously, right?” one user wrote. Another added, “I had way more respect for you when you were doing OF than running this MLM scheme.” One blunt comment simply read: “Scamilla.”
