A lawsuit filed by former FOX Sports hairdresser Noushin Faraji has leveled serious accusations against prominent network personalities Skip Bayless and Joy Taylor, along with FOX Sports executive Charlie Dixon. The 42-page legal filing alleges sexual battery, harassment, and a toxic workplace environment during Faraji’s tenure at FOX, which spanned from 2012 until August of last year.
Claims Against Skip Bayless
According to the lawsuit, Bayless allegedly propositioned Faraji, offering her $1.5 million for a sexual encounter. Faraji also claims Bayless frequently engaged in inappropriate physical contact, including lingering hugs and kisses on the cheek, pressing his body against hers. Despite her repeated rejections and clear indications that she was not interested—even citing her ovarian cancer diagnosis—Bayless allegedly became more persistent over time.
In one instance, Faraji says she told Bayless, “Skip, stop, you have a wife,” to which he allegedly replied, “Aren’t you Muslim? Doesn’t your dad have three to four wives?” Faraji asserts that she left the situation after responding that her father had passed away.
Bayless is also accused of making false and inappropriate comments suggesting Faraji had a romantic relationship with his Undisputed co-host Shannon Sharpe.
Allegations Against Joy Taylor
Faraji’s lawsuit claims that Taylor dismissed her complaints about workplace issues, allegedly telling her to “get over” them. Taylor, who remains employed at FOX Sports, has not commented on the allegations as of yet.
Broader Accusations and Toxic Workplace Claims
Faraji’s lawsuit paints a grim picture of the workplace culture at FOX Sports, describing it as “misogynistic, racist, and ableist.” The filing alleges that executives and talent were allowed to verbally and physically abuse employees without consequence. It further claims that complaints made to FOX’s HR department, including those from Faraji, were ignored, and that whistleblowers faced retaliation while alleged perpetrators were promoted.
The lawsuit accuses FOX of fostering a toxic environment marked by systemic failures to address misconduct and protect employees.
FOX Sports’ Response
FOX Sports has released a brief statement, saying, “We take these allegations seriously and have no further comment at this time given this pending litigation.”
Faraji Seeks Damages and Accountability
Faraji’s legal action seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial. She states that her decade-long experience at FOX compelled her to endure abuse and harassment, which the lawsuit claims reflects a broader cultural issue within the organization.
Current Status
While Faraji’s accusations have sparked significant media attention, no party has been found guilty as the legal process unfolds. FOX Sports has yet to comment beyond its initial statement, and neither Bayless nor Taylor has addressed the allegations publicly. The case represents yet another high-profile legal challenge for the network and raises critical questions about workplace accountability in the sports media industry.
